Privacy Policy

HandyDice ・ Last updated: 17 September 2026

HandyDice collects nothing that could identify you, and sends no data anywhere. Everything the app does happens on your device.

What we do not collect

HandyDice does not obtain any of the following.

There is no account and no sign-in.

Settings stored on your device

The app saves whether sound and haptic feedback are switched on, so that your choice carries over the next time you open it. It is stored on the device itself, in iOS user defaults. It never leaves the device, and nobody else, the developer included, can read it. Deleting the app deletes it too.

Use of motion sensors

To notice when you shake the device, the app reads the accelerometer while it is on screen. Those readings are used at that moment to tumble the dice and are neither stored nor transmitted. Reading stops when you leave the app. The app does not obtain motion and fitness data such as step counts or activity.

Transmission and third parties

The app does not use the internet. It contains no advertising SDK, no analytics tool and no other third-party software. Since nothing is collected, nothing is shared with or provided to anyone.

Links to other sites

The About screen links to the studio website, where this policy is published. Opening that link launches your device's default browser.

Age

No information is collected from anyone, whatever their age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, this page is updated and the date at the top is revised.
